The U.S. Supreme Court granted Secretary of State Michele Reagan’s request to participate in the upcoming oral arguments in a challenge to Arizona’s legislative districts.
Both the Secretary of State’s Office and the U.S. solicitor general will get 10 minutes to make their case on December 8, when the Supreme Court will hear arguments on whether the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission unconstitutionally overpopulated some legislative districts and underpopulated others to provide an advantage to Democratic candidates.
