Pinal County is looking to develop a new regional park.
The county Open Space and Trails Department on Dec. 10 will hold a public open house to present information on the proposed Palo Verde Regional Park and to gather public input.
The proposed park would consist of more than 31 square miles of mostly federal Bureau of Land Management land on the county’s far west side.
The land is located between Interstate 8 on the south and State Route 238 on the north and abuts Sonoran Desert National Monument.
