Mayor Jerry Weiers and members of EPCOR announced the new Luke 303 Regional Water Reclamation Facility with a press conference Dec. 11 near Luke Air Force Base.
“This is the epicenter of growth for the next decade in the West Valley,” Weiers said. “It is my pleasure to join everyone today for this public-private partnership for the growth of Glendale.”
The new Luke 303 wastewater district and Regional Water Reclamation Facility will provide wastewater and recycled water services to more than 4,400 acres of new homes and business along the Loop 303 corridor in Glendale. The plant will have the capacity to service up to 350,000 customers daily when it opens in early 2017.
