Gov. Doug Ducey has presented a very austere budget. There is exceedingly little in the way of restoring the deep cuts in state programs that took place as a result of the recession.
Is Ducey’s budget excessively and unnecessarily austere? The view here is that it is. And the most convincing evidence is in Ducey’s budget document itself.
