Gilbert man allegedly run over by wife for not voting

Tuesday’s election had a tragic development in Gilbert when a Mesa woman allegedly chased her husband around in a parking lot in an SUV, reportedly believing her family was going to face hardship as a result of President Barack Obama’s re-election, and her husband hadn’t voted.

Holly Solomon, 28, finally struck her husband, Daniel, leaving him with critical injuries, Gilbert police said.

She was taken into custody and booked into jail for domestic violence charges of aggravated assault.

Police told ABC 15  there were no indications that Holly was impaired by alcohol or drugs during the incident.
