Rosewood Holds Lottery for Phase 1 at Rosewood Canyon Estates

(Editor’s note: News releases are published unedited, unless they contain factual errors.)

Rosewood Homes recently began construction of model homes at its new Rosewood Canyon Estates neighborhood in the Ahwatukee Foothills. However, demand is so intense that Rosewood conducted a “lottery” for its 9-home Phase 1. And there was so much demand that Rosewood conducted the lottery before models even began construction!

Over the past few months, Rosewood has been holding “information meetings” with its extensive interest list. Prospective buyers then submitted “proof-of-funds” or lender “pre-approvals.” Rosewood then pulled 9-names out of a hat to prioritize the first 9-contract appointments. The first few homes are now under contract while appointments are scheduled for the remaining homes in Phase 1. Rosewood expects to start construction on Phase 1 in June followed by a Summer Model Grand Opening. Rosewood expects to release Phase 2 for sale in the coming weeks.

Rosewood Canyon Estates is an upscale 40-home, gated neighborhood that Rosewood created on property purchased from the Kyrene Unified School District. This approximately 11-acre parcel abuts the 16,000 acre South Mountain Park Preserve in the Ahwatukee Foothills. Rosewood Canyon Estates has been designed to maximize privacy and mountain views with homes backing to open space. A mix of single-story and two-story homes range in size from 2,268 to 3,539 square feet with base prices starting in the $400’s.
