5 myths busted about online reviews in real estate

Word-of-mouth recommendations have a certain authority among consumers; 88 percent of consumers said they trust online reviews as much as word-of-mouth recommendations.

Of consumers, 19 percent are likely to write a review after a bad experience, and only 17 percent would do so after a bad experience.

Many agents worry that a bad review will be detrimental for their business. However, many consumers are skeptical of or distrust reviews that are all positive.
