No legislative pay raise on ballot, again

The once-biennial ballot measure asking voters if their lawmakers deserve a pay raise is becoming the exception rather than the rule.

For the third time in the past four elections, it appears almost certain that voters won’t get a chance to weigh in on whether legislators’ $24,000-a-year salary should go up.
