A federal judge in Phoenix has denied a motion for an injunction to stop construction on the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway.

In her ruling Thursday, U.S. District Judge Diane Humetewa repeated her conclusion that freeway opponents aren’t likely to succeed in their ongoing legal battle against the project should they choose to continue their appeals.
