Mainstreet, a Carmel, Indiana-based developer of post-acute health care properties, has selected Balfour Beatty Construction to build two transitional care properties in Chandler and Tucson totaling $24 million.
Each of the one-story, 70-bed facilities will provide post-acute care, short-stay rehabilitation and therapy for patients. Each 50,000-square-foot structure will feature Mainstreet’s hotel-like environment, offering patients hospitality-oriented care. Amenities will include a large therapy gym, an outdoor rehabilitation courtyard, a movie theater, game room, spa, and an on-site chef.
