Pinal County Air Quality representatives will hold a public hearing on a permit for Florence Copper at 6 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Superior Court jury assembly room at 971 N. Jason Lopez Circle.

The Air Quality Department held a hearing in the first week of the new year; 78 people attended and 28 people spoke. But the audio recording malfunctioned, and the department must have a hearing transcript to document the comments, according to Michael Sundblom, department director.
