Complaints against Eloy immigration judges to remain undisclosed

The Justice Department has denied a Freedom of Information Act request for complaints filed against immigration judges at the Eloy Detention Center.

In December, PinalCentral requested records of all complaints filed with the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the nature of the allegations from Jan. 1, 2006, to Dec. 31, 2016. This documentation was to include the names of the judges against whom the complaints were filed as well as the complainants’ names when possible.
