Phoenix to vote on $500 million data center expansion

The Phoenix City Council is slated to vote next week on a development deal with IO Data Centers LLC for a big expansion of its data center campus.

IO Data Center has a $200 million data center campus at Van Buren Street and the Loop 202 freeway.

It wants to expand that development at 48th and Van Buren streets in east Phoenix. IO bought land at that site for the expansion.
