Flagstaff City Council nixes Soliere project GPLET

A divided city council chose not to pursue a tax incentive for a developer looking to realign Soliere Avenue near Interstate 40 and Country Club Drive at the council’s work session Tuesday evening.

The request for the tax incentive, which would have allowed the developer to recapture $2.5 million in sales tax generated by the commercial portion of the project over a period of 10 to 12 years, came from Phoenix-based Vintage Partners.
