Pinal board to discuss possible legal action against Johnson Utilities

In light of a recent indictment of Johnson Utilities owner George Johnson and three others, Pinal County Supervisor Mike Goodman said he wants county officials to be kept in the loop on discussions taking place related to the utility company, which affects residents in his district.

The Arizona Corporation Commission is set to meet at 10 a.m. Monday. Goodman, R-San Tan Valley, has suggested that if there is an agenda item relating to Johnson Utilities, Pinal County officials — likely himself or County Manager Greg Stanley — should attend.

The agenda was not posted as of press time.
