Phoenix has done its fair share of dumb things.

Going into the hotel business tops the list, of course. But this one’s a close second.

City leaders want to make Van Buren Street more friendly for bicyclists and pedestrians. By making it a nightmare for drivers trying to get into or out of downtown Phoenix.
