Maricopa breaks ground on new shopping center

MARICOPA — The city of Maricopa and the developers at Vintage Partners broke ground on Edison Pointe on Monday morning.

Community members, business owners and city officials gathered at Edison Pointe to watch the dirt being turned on a soon-to-be retail hot spot in the city.

“We’ve all been waiting for this project for a very long time,” said Mayor Christian Price.
