Corporation Commission continues pursuing Johnson Utilities audit

Arizona Corporation Commission officials say the agency’s rate and operation review of water provider Johnson Utilities — which was ordered not long after the indictment of the utility company’s owner — is moving forward.

But one Pinal County public official said he’s skeptical of the progress.

“It doesn’t appear that they’re actually doing anything yet,” County Supervisor Mike Goodman, R-San Tan Valley, told PinalCentral. “I don’t know how exactly they’re doing it.

“But I do know that the way they ruled it, they were supposed to go in and do a complete audit.”
