Florence historic building owner gets more time

Action to take the historic Francisco Cuen building away from a local businessman and return title to the town was tabled by the Town Council, in hopes the parties can agree on an action plan before the council’s next regular meeting on Nov. 6.

Florence Development Services Director Chris Salas told the council that conversations he he’s had to date with Stephen Smallidge have been “positive.”
