Central Arizona College’s Superstition Mountain Campus is putting the finishing touches on a building that will double the amount of space available to the school.
Officials hope the new building, sporting a copper roof, will become a centerpiece for the college and the community.
“It’s really exciting to have this new building over at the campus. It’s going to be a really big impact and really transform that area of Apache Junction,” said Tom DiCamillo, spokesman for Central Arizona College. “We’ve even taken the opportunity to renovate the insides of some of the older buildings on the property.”
Construction of the new building began in November 2010, and it features many classrooms and facilities that should improve the educational experience of those who attend.
