Federal, state, local and private interests are teaming up to conduct a study to assess the current and future supply of water in Pinal County.
With a grant from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Eloy and Maricopa-Stanfield Water Basin Study will take a comprehensive look at the supply and demand of current and future uses for groundwater in Pinal County, said Ron Fleming, CEO of Global Water, a private water provider and one of the partner agencies. Fleming also serves as the co-chair of the Water Resource Committee at Pinal Partnership, the organizing agency and a cooperative effort between government and investors.
