Film is a universal language, and Mitesh Patel said that’s the most important part of his Chandler International Film Festival, which runs Friday, Jan. 12, to Monday, Jan. 15.
“People should attend the film festival because they will be watching stories from around the world,” said Patel, the founder and CEO. “If people attend the festival, they will be engaging with and learning different cultures. Along with that, over 200 filmmakers, local and international, come to Chandler so people attending the festival can talk with the filmmakers of films they have just watched. They can ask questions about the film, where the idea came from, how it was filmed, and it is a great opportunity for people to network.”
