Water issue dams forward movement of Pine development

The developer of the first new subdivision in Gila County in years faces additional delays due to questions about water after struggling for nearly a year to get the 18-home subdivision to the board of supervisors.

The Gila County Planning and Zoning Commission approved the subdivision outside Portals IV last April, but questions about water supply have forced a delay in getting the Pine project approved.
