A former deputy to Pinal County Clerk of the Court Chad A. Roche claims she was sexually harassed by the elected official and fired after she reported him to county administrators.
In a complaint filed in U.S. District Court earlier this month, Linda Martinez alleges that Roche engaged in retaliation, sexual harassment and employment discrimination, and created a hostile work environment. Pinal County is also named in the suit.
Roche said he couldn’t discuss the case when reached Friday. He denies any wrongdoing.
