AG refutes Wickenburg mayor’s ‘blackmail’ claim; mayor’s AG complaint on next council agenda

Wickenburg Town Council will discuss the mayor’s recent complaint to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office during its next regularly scheduled meeting, at 5:30 p.m. April 2. Part of that discussion is likely to center around the mayor’s claim that the attorney general told him that blackmail exists in Wickenburg, and the fact that the attorney general’s office later stated there was no such conclusion by the AG or any AG staff member . (This story was updated online after the March 21 Sun went to print.)
