Glendale city manager showcases vision for downtown area

In two meetings with downtown merchants, business and property owners, Glendale City Manager Kevin Phelps presented a renewed vision for a vibrant downtown area and increased vision for bringing business to the area.

The major idea he presented was to rebuild and refurbish the E. Lowell Rogers Amphitheatre in Murphy Park to hold events year-round to drive people to the merchants of the downtown area.
