Chase Field in downtown Phoenix ranks 27th out of 30 in a new ranking of the best and worst Major League Baseball ballparks.
That is according to a ranking by veteran baseball writer Maury Brown published in Forbes.
Chase Field is home to the Arizona Diamondbacks who are celebrating their 20th season this year.
Forbes rankings of sports franchises and their valuation are much-watched. The ballpark rankings are based on architecture, visuals both in terms of the field and the surrounding area, amenities and history.
AT&T Park in San Francisco was first on the list followed by Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore and the new incarnation of Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
