The founder and CEO of Innovation Pavilion resigned Thursday amid accusations of sexual assault, but the company’s plans for a business park fostering creative solutions and entrepreneurship are continuing in Florence, a town spokesman said.

Ben Bitter, assistant to the town manager, said he was unaware of any complaints about IP founder Vic Ahmed’s behavior toward anyone in Florence. He said the IP employee who has spent the most time in Florence is Jennifer Bustamante, who has been promoted to vice president of national expansion. A letter from the company’s interim CEO to Florence Town Manager Brent Billingsley noted a couple of other top job changes in the wake of Ahmed’s departure.
