More options for child care in Casa Grande are on the horizon.

The Planning and Zoning Commission Thursday approved an 8,700-square-foot day care center behind the Circle K on Pottebaum Avenue.

City Planner Laura Blakeman said Sunrise Preschool will serve children from infancy to age 12 and will be open Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. The school’s operators have 25 other schools in the Phoenix area.
