Scottsdale has earned the distinction as one of the best-run cities in America for the second year in a row.
A recent report from 24/7 Wall St., a financial news and opinion operation, placed Scottsdale in 10th place, two notches below last year’s ranking of eighth place.
Chandler, in 12th place, was the only other Arizona city.
The analysis, posted Jan. 15., studied the 100 largest cities in America, which was “based on local economies, fiscal management and quality of life measures,” it said.
The report says Scottsdale “fared better than much of the state following the recession.”
