Former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is coming back to Tucson next week to campaign for Democrat David Garcia.

The Vermont senator is expected to draw big crowds on the University of Arizona campus as he campaigns for the Democratic gubernatorial candidate next week, marking his fourth visit to Tucson in the last two years.

“I am proud to support David Garcia for Governor of Arizona,” said Sanders. “As a first-generation college graduate, who went to school on the G.I. Bill, David knows what it means to have access to an affordable education. The Arizona Constitution says college should be ‘as nearly free as possible’ and David has a plan to make that a reality.”
