The land just south of the Goodyear Airport is just dirt now, but that dirt is getting a lot of attention.
In just a few months, construction will begin on a new tech center there.
The 280-acre piece of farm land is officially owned by Microsoft, according to public records. But plans for its future is still under wraps.
Goodyear city officials calling the project ‘PHX 10 – 11′
Monday night, Goodyear City Council members unanimously approved to change the land’s zoning from agricultural to light industrial.
That means something big is coming.
