Glendale City Attorney Craig Tindall, a key figure in the city’s Phoenix Coyotes ownership drama, has resigned his post.
City officials, who asked not to be identified until an official announcement is made, confirmed that Tindall stepped down Tuesday.
There have also been several social media posts on Twitter saying Tindall is out as city attorney
Tindall represented the city in a number of high-profile cases and legal disputes, including efforts to keep the Coyotes and opposition to a proposed Tohono O’odham Nation casino near University of Phoenix Stadium.
We’re waiting on official word from the city and comments from Tindall on his exit. Those are likely to come Wednesday.
