Scottsdale CIP subcommittee seeks community input on unfunded projects, potential bond

A general obligation bond election may be on the horizon for Scottsdale as the city is pushing forward in its community outreach phase regarding a potential bond.

The city, at the behest of the Capital Improvement Program Subcommittee, is hosting five open houses regarding 67 unfunded CIP projects. There are two more open houses scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 and Thursday, March 7.

The hope is to get a bond vote on the November 2019 election, Councilmember Kathy Littlefield said.

Ms. Littlefield, who is also a member of the CIP subcommittee, said the point of obtaining feedback is because the citizens deserve to have their voice heard on matters that affect their quality of life.
