Diamondbacks television analyst Mark Grace is taking a leave of absence from the broadcast booth one day after he was arrested by Scottsdale Police Thursday night on DUI.
The team announced the move Friday afternoon, saying in a statement that Grace “requested an indefinite leave of absence to seek personal assistance. Due to the nature of Grace’s request, the team will have no further comment on the matter at this time.”
Grace was arrested by a Scottsdale Police officer at approximately 9 p.m. Thursday night according to Sgt. Mark Clark.

Justin Upton put on waivers. It is not uncommon for star players to be placed on waivers at this point in the season, and just because Upton was claimed by someone does not mean his time as a D-backs is up. (arizonasports.com)
