Shea Homes finalized the recent purchase of three land parcels in Scottsdale, Phoenix and Avondale, expanding its reach in the Valley.

Scottsdale-based Shea will break ground on 51 homesites in north Scottsdale, near 128th Street and Ranch Gate Road, in August 2020, as part of the larger Storyrock development. The land for the Storyrock development was purchased from Cav-Ranch LLC on May 30 for $19 million, according to data from Reonomy.

Homes will range from 2,845 to 3,983 square feet and will border the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, the largest urban preserve in the United States.
