Where are the hardest workers? See where Arizona ranks

Arizona ranks 39th on a new list of the ‘hardest working’ states put out by WalletHub.

The financial research firm ranked U.S. states on how many hours workers put in each week, volunteer hours, workforce participation rates, number of teenagers and younger adults working and number of workers with multiple jobs.

North Dakota, Alaska, South Dakota, Texas, Nebraska and Hawaii rank as having the hardest working residents.

West Virginia, Rhode Island, New Mexico, Michigan, Ohio and Oregon ranks as the least-hardest working, according to Wallet Hub.

California is 33rd. New York is 45th in the report.

Arizona has a 4.9 percent unemployment rate with seasonal adjustments. That compares to a 3.9 percent national unemployment rate.
