Infill single family homes proposed in Glendale

Two-Story, Two-Unit Mixed-Use Infill Project At 73-45 Myrtle Avenue, Glendale

By Mike Sunnucks | Dealmaker

A Canadian developer wants to bring infill single-family housing to Glendale.

Genica Group of Companies is proposing the Glendale 10 development at 67th Avenue near Maryland Avenue.

The British Columbia company has put forward plans for a 47-home subdivision on a 10-acre vacant property.

The Glendale Planning Commission will consider at its Thursday meeting Genica’s proposal to rezone the property from high-density residential to a medium-density designation to allow for the single-family development.

Construction on the housing development could start by the end of the year if zoning changes are approved by the city of Glendale.
