Arcadia Capital Group and the Scottsdale Church of the Nazarene have submitted plans with the city of Scottsdale for a proposed 27-unit patio home development of the church’s property on Hayden Road south of Thomas Road.

Arcadia Capital and the church are asking the city to rezone the 5.7-acre property to allow for townhouse development and a reconfigured church facility.

Portions of the land are zoned for single-family homes or multifamily from previous development plans that did not come to fruition.

A number of other church properties in Scottsdale and metro Phoenix have seen redevelopment plans with commercial and residential uses while others have been sold to developers.
