Duane Lambert has lived in Glendale for more than six decades.
He moved here in 1958, and said he loved the city when “it was a nice farming community type of a town. But now it’s gone the other way.
“I’m tired of seeing all the boarded-up businesses downtown,” said Lambert, a retired estate manager.
“The business owners I talk to are not happy. They say the city is pushing Westgate and doesn’t have much interest with downtown business owners.”
