PHOENIX — Fears of evictions and foreclosures due to coronavirus financial hardships could be set aside for a while. The Arizona House passed an emergency budget package that includes $50 million in funding to help with coronavirus relief.
That bill was previously passed by the state Senate. The legislature then adjourned for a least three weeks.
The package includes money to prevent evictions and foreclosures due to coronavirus.
“The Arizona legislature bill is really aimed at small businesses under 50 employees. This is really helpful for that segment of business owners. The federal legislation which Is still being negotiated but we are reviewing appears to apply to much larger organizations. We are hopeful that that will be finalized today.” ~ Jordan Rose, Founder of Rose Law Group
