Castle Hot Springs is selling its farm’s produce to the public

Castle Hot Springs, the historic Arizona hideaway, has felt the impact of the new coronavirus pandemic. The luxury lodging and hot springs northwest of Phoenix have shut down through April 30.

But as the hotel halts operations in the prime of its spring season, the resort’s organic garden is up and running. Its 1-acre farm and greenhouse garden are flourishing with over 150 types of fruits, vegetables and herbs.

So the resort is selling subscription boxes of fresh produce from the Castle Hot Springs farm. The company says profits from the sales will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul food bank.
