Two Phoenix companies are offering drive-thru antibody testing that can indicate whether a person has been exposed to Covid-19 and developed antibodies against it, meaning that person has at least some immunity to the coronavirus.
Also called serology testing, antibody testing uses blood serum specimens, as opposed to the molecular test that uses a 5-inch swab pushed through the nose to reach the back of the throat. The molecular test can only determine if a patient has Covid-19 at that moment.
