By Mark Grado – GM of Rawhide Western Town and Events Center and the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports

Rawhide Western Town and Events Center and the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports undertook an extensive and in fact, weeks long approach of analyzing our facilities and layouts and how each of the business models would need to operate. Each venue needing specific standards to be established in order to feel confident that we were going to be able to host clients and or guest in a way that demonstrated not just to our community that we took extraordinary measure but common sense measures that could be maintained throughout any given set of circumstances.

We went to HealthyVerify for not only their expertise but their willingness to see it through our lens. Their guidance was more than valuable but it allowed us to have Doctors and operational experts weigh in on what was best from every aspect, that includes public safety, public health and being mindful that we wanted our guest to have as minimal of an impact to the experience of what they come to our facilities for, an escape into what they love or desire to do. Simply put, something that fans could feel good about when they attend an event at the venue.

Music, Racing, Food, Festival or Signature event, all matter to us in a way that resonates with each of our team and that is what we were compelled to acknowledge when we started to identify and create our return to business models.
