Arizona has the 20th lowest tax burden among U.S. states, according to new research compiled by WalletHub.
Arizona has low income and property tax rates but one of the higher sales tax burdens, according to the rankings.
New York and Hawaii have the highest state tax burdens while Alaska and Delaware have the lowest.
California has 13th highest tax burden including the 5th highest income tax burden. Illinois is 9th highest, according to WalletHub which looked state taxes and their share of personal income.
Texas has the 19th lowest tax burden while Florida is 5th lowest.
