That is according to new research by WalletHub. The rankings look at workplace and business orders related to COVID as well as mask mandates and how and when schools are being reopened.

California has the most restrictions followed by New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Texas is 6th while Arizona has the 8th most, according to WalletHub.

South Dakota, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and Utah have the fewest COVID-19 restrictions and mandates, according to the report.
