Slow but steady growth continues for Arizona

The Arizona Republic

August job growth in Arizona put the state ahead of last August by 2.3 percent, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Every month this year has brought positive growth to the state. However, the growth is slow compared with the years leading up to the recession.

Most economists predict slow growth for the next two years in Arizona, not a return to rapid growth, because they don’t see anything on the horizon that could trigger a rapid expansion in the state.
