The legal threats, the stipulations and the ever-present public soliloquies may be drawing to a close as Crown Realty & Development prepares to unveil its response to myriad resident wants and desires if and when Mountain Shadows Golf Resort is revitalized.

Crown Realty & Development is hosting a community meeting Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Montelucia Resort & Spa, 4949 E. Lincoln Drive.

Paradise Valley Town Council is expected to hold a public hearing on the pending resort revamp 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at Town Hall, 6401 E. Lincoln Drive.

While Crown Realty officials hope a compromise can be struck between resident and developer, Arizona tourism officials are eagerly awaiting the rebirth of one of the state’s forgotten gems of hospitality and illustration of affluence.

Mountain Shadows Golf Resort, at 56th Street and Lincoln Drive has been vacant since September 2004.
