ViaWest spends $13.2 million for flex, office building and land parcel

viawestPhoenix – A company formed by ViaWest Properties LLC in Phoenix (Gary Linhart, Steven Schwarz, principals) paid a combined $13.2 million to purchase a 118,853-square-foot flex, office building and a 2.8-acre parcel of adjoining land in west Phoenix. The sellers in two deals were companies formed by Carlson Real Estate Co. in Minnetonka, Mn. (Matt Van Slooten, principal). The transactions were brokered through Eastdil Secured in Los Angeles, Calif. SWRE Deal V Building LLC (the ViaWest entity) paid $12.7 million ($106.85 per foot) to buy the flex, office structure, which is at 1830 N. 95th Avenue. The seller was Carlson Real Estate Co. LLLP. In a $500,000 sale, SWRE Deal V Land LLC (another ViaWest company) acquired a 2.8-acre parcel of vacant land that is targeted for development as 15,000 sq. ft. of space that could be occupied by office or retail tenants.
