SAFFORD — Saying he hasn’t made a decision yet, Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett told the Republican faithful here he is exploring a run for governor.

Bennett was speaking before the Graham County Republic Central Committee Friday, at the Manor House, when he said he’s formed an exploratory committee.

“If I decide to be a candidate, I can say that one of the main things I would want to do is explain government in a way that people can understand,” Bennett said.

To bolster that position, Bennett used a series of placards to explain the election process and the responsibilities of the state, the counties, the courts and the parties during his talk to the GOP faithful.
